Fall semester orientation begins on Aug. 17 at 8 a.m. in Atwood Memorial Center Ballroom. Attendance is required through the week. Breakfast will be provided. Classes begin Aug. 23.
Orientation is for all new international students: First-year, transfer, graduate, exchange and student athlete. To qualify for the Academic and Cultural Sharing Scholarship, students must check-in and attend orientation. Scholarship recipients are eligible for a reduction in tuition rates.
To determine whether you need to take placement testing, visit the Mathematics Placement Testing and the English Placement Testing websites. The date and time of the exam/s is in the orientation schedule. A registration hold will be put on your account if you fail to take a required exam. A photo ID is required. Earbuds or headphones are recommended.
All students must provide immunizations/test records to Medical Clinic. A hold will be placed on your registration if you fail to present the reports or have tuberculosis testing done at the Medical Clinic during orientation week.
You will not be able to register for class without purchasing the health insurance policy.
New international students will register for classes during orientation. Books and supplies can be purchased at the University Bookstore following registration.
